Congratulations to Jim MacMillan on his purchase of Goin Boom aka "Boomer".  He will be joining his half sister, Im Dynabright, at his new home.

We had to say goodbye to one of our retired broodmares recently.  Rockette Star, better known as "Wilma" was laid to rest September 13th, 2013.  She was a remarkable mare who produced several foals for us and remained regal to the end.  Two of her daughters have made it to our "keeper" list, so we will still have her close at hand for years to come.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Hill on her recent purchase of Iced Just Right
aka "Minnie".  She and her half brother, Maximum Dude, who was purchased a few years ago by Elizabeth's father, will be moving to their new facility later in the fall.

NDA would like to congratulate Ashley and "Splash" on their recent adventures with the Canadian CowGirls in the Rose Bowl Parade and the IFR Rodeo!

Splash is a daughter of Maximum Ice and Bandido's Gold and expresses the splash gene to the max, looking much like a Paint!  She has proven once again what great dispositions our Appaloosas possess!  What a wonderful job Ashley has done preparing Splash for the many challenges a drill team horse faces!! Watch for them wherever you see the Canadian Cowgirls perform.

Anyone who has been a longtime visitor to our website may remember the story of "C I Made It" or Shadow.  He was a beautiful deep bay colt with a huge spotted blanket who had problems after a difficult birth.  Because he wouldn't give up, we felt we couldn't give up on him, and helped him fight. Against the odds all the way, this little colt survived and thrived for 23 days until he could stand and nurse on his mama.  She, bless her soul, came back into her milk and raised him just fine.   Sadly, 13 years later, Shadow was laid to rest due to complications brought on by an injury.

Rest in Peace, Shadow boy

DREAMS DO COME TRUE!
As visitors to this site have gathered in the past, we practice many of the concepts of the Lyons method of horse training.  It has long been a dream of mine to attend the Certification program offered by John and Josh Lyons in Parachute, Colorado.  I saw that dream become a reality!
I graduated on November 9th, 2007 and am now a
